batten tension adjustment
removable battens with easily adjustable tension-what an improvemnet over the sewn in non-adjustable battens that are typical

when the tillers are where they belong, the tubing keeps the shockcord from applying further tension
when the extension is aft, the shockcord applies a lot of tension to bring it back forward. The tubing is flexible enough to allow the tiller to go all the way forward for storage
